Life is…

Life is…

Hello Lovelies. It’s been a while and let me tell you life has been crazy. If you ever wonder what I’m up to definitely check my Instagram or snapchat.

I wanted to write this blog post to give you all a little life update because so much has happened since January let alone since my last post about Mexico.

Let me start this off by saying, the music industry is not for the faint hearted. At the age of 21 I did not think I would be pursuing a passion I’ve had since the age of 6. I always thought I had to have everything accomplished by a certain age and was always told what to do… or what people think I should do with my life. No one has everything figured out by any age. Especially 21. I’m learning so much about music, about people, about people who I associate myself with and about myself. I’ve already had some really stupid experiences with people trying to take advantage of me.. A Women in the industry who’s doing everything on her own. That’s me. I threw myself into this industry by myself not knowing a single thing about it other than I can sing/play guitar and write songs. Coming out on the other side as of recently, I’ve learned a heck of a lot about Music business/laws/copyright and people’s intentions. I have a huge heart and I’m way too trusting of a person and people like to take advantage of that and tell me what to do/what to sing… etc..I’ve learned if I want anything done in this business, to get it done on my own. The last couple months I’ve been beaten down, been too nice to people I shouldn’t and have been doing pointless shit for people who want to use me. I never thought I would be in the situation until I realized what was happening. It’s taught me a lot. Only until recently have I realized my worth as a person and an artist. You have to honestly count on yourself and believe fully and completely in yourself and what drives your soul and your passion. You believe in yourself more than anyone else can. You know what you want, the road may not be easy but have full faith that you’re on the path you are suppose to be on.

“Doubt kills dreams more than failure ever will”

I kind of just want to leave it there and leave you all to take that for what it is. More than anything I can’t wait to share my music FINALLY with the world. It’s going to be nothing you’ve heard and completely from scratch… and we will leave it at that. I feel like I can finally conquer the world today and Finally feel like I have the power over my life and no one can tell me what to do unless it’s to help me, better me as an artist or constructive criticism.

Again, I can’t wait to finally share my music with the world. Coming Soon.

Hello lovelies. Happy Fall!!! I love this time of year, but honestly who doesn’t!! I’m really missing the fall weather back home for sure, it’s so weird it still being like 80 degrees in November! I’m trying to work In all my black wardrobe from working at MAC into my outfits now, since I’m not working for MAC Anymore (A whole other blog post) I’m living for these skirts by Free People, they have so many different ones and different colors! Paired with these amazing boots I found for a steal at The Rack, I love the pop of color they give. This Fall I’m trying to pair colors you wouldn’t normally wear together! I find it kind of fun and a new twist on a typical outfit. Here we have Burgundy paired with a darker green on my purse, nothing too crazy but it makes the color pop against the black outfit.

On a totally separate note, I’ve been writing so much music lately… I’m on a roll and I know I say this a lot but I can’t wait to share all these songs with the world. The process of making this album is like rebuilding myself and telling my story in a way I never thought was possible. It’s taken all my thoughts that I’ve never shared with the world and turning it into songs that are quite literally coming straight from my heart. I’m learning so much about music and it makes me so happy. There’s nothing better than learning while being so hands on and actually doing it. I’m right in the midst of all things music and it’s always what I’ve wanted my life to be like.

Stay tuned! Thanks so much for reading:)

Happy Monday everyone!!! Today is the start of FALL OUTFITS!!! So as many of you know, I’m in Arizona and it’s definitely going to be a struggle finding some fall outfits that I don’t die in, but I’m gonna do it to fit the season here! As I did with this outfit, since it’s still 90+ degrees we are transitioning with fall colors. I’m obsessed with this burnt Orange color right now, it’s so beautiful and it compliments literally everyone! This bodysuit is so versatile as well and comes in a few other colors. I’ve already worn it with so many different bottoms! For those of you who have similar body type to me I feel like plunging necklines are super flattering because I don’t really have much “shape” to my body, so I’ve been loving this type of neckline! Pairing this outfit with my fave jeans right now as well as the belt I haven’t stopped wearing! I love Free People Jeans, they’re some of my faves and they don’t wear out, which I love. They hold their shape as well!

I hope you guys enjoyed this outfit and have a great start to your week!! 🙂

Very casual here today on the blog, it’s getting so hot here where I live, but it was a bit more gloomy today and I’m not quite ready to bust out the shorts just yet! But guys I’m so in love with this belt and I know EVERYONE and their mom has one… either THE one from Below The Belt or different ones, and I’m just obsessed!! This one was very reasonably priced and super amazing quality! You’ll be seeing it a ton!! I also love these tanks from VS, Bought them in all the colors, the high neck… I think is just so flattering. I had the day off today so didn’t do too much, on my days off I like to do my blogging stuff and get all my photos done.. But I also like to watch a lot of Harry Potter too, and since today was a little gloomy I did just that! Some days it’s great to just chill! Otherwise I’ve been working at MAC and I just recently got casted in The Little Mermaid, which is going to be so fun and  rehearsals have already started, It’s going to be such a great show! I’ll be posting about that here too with some fun cast photos:)
Side note as I was typing this blog post I was searching for the belt and they have taken it of of Expresses website.. D: So I found similar ones from Nordstrom that aren’t ridiculously expensive.
